She is a fantastic teacher who has a vast amount of knowledge. If you like sewing or want to start a new hobby Paula's workshops are definitely worth trying.

I attended a 5 week course with Paula, starting as a complete beginner (but enthusiastic crafter), never having touched a sewing machine before. Her friendly, open and supportive nature meant I felt completely at ease as soon as the first session began (I did Fridays mornings). I learnt the basics of the machine and threading up, a number of seaming methods, how to make bunting, and moved on to make a piped cushion cover with button holes and start a brand new cushion. Bringing my own sewing machine in meant I was able to learn how to use this confidently. I have come away with a true passion for sewing, and have discovered a whole new online world of sewing fanatics! I would highly recommend Paula's adult sewing classes! A++++

Such a lovely way to gain confidence with sewing. Paula is a patient, knowledgeable teacher and the environment is calm and relaxed. I really enjoyed my 5 weeks and will definitely return!

Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed my ten weeks of sewing and to thank you for all your patience, inspiration and expert guidance. I'm really proud to have completed 2 skirts. I've learnt so many new skills from you and feel much more confident to follow a pattern on my own. I hope to join you again for more lessons when time allows!

My two little girls recently attended a two week course with Paula - 4 hours in total. They were both completely new to using a sewing machine and came away with beautiful bags which they are thrilled with. They came away from the lessons absolutely buzzing with excitement and had so much fun. Paula was brilliant with them and they can’t wait to do more sewing with her. I’ve also had adult lessons with Paula and she is brilliant - has so much patience and always ready to help and advise.

I recently attended a five-week sewing course with Paula. I am a bit of a novice and Paula is a great teacher. Only having four people in each of her classes she is able to spend time explaining and demonstrating how to do different tasks. Great way to gain confidence and learn new skills. Thank you, Paula

It is safe to say that sewing got me through lockdown, and that would not have happened

If it wasn’t for Paula’s help.

I continued with my sewing lessons online speaking to Paula via a video link, this worked

really well. I managed to complete my most complicated garment to date with lots of help

from Paula.

At first, we weren’t sure how the online classes were going to work out, but they went really well.

Paula is so helpful and enthusiastic she has made sewing a joy

I am looking forward to the classes starting up again in September.

It is really only down to the patience and skill of Paula’s teaching and of course the encouragement of the sewing group that I have managed to make some lovely pieces

The virtual classes have worked very well even for a novice like me

Lockdown would have been a lot harder without having a focus
